IMNETLD was registered on the 19 December 2013 (registration number 436) in Lushnja.
Lushnja is a city in Central-West Albania. The town was founded in late medieval times. In January 1920, Lushnje was a provisional capital of Albania. Lushnja is actually a strategic point of communication between the north and the south of Albania. It is considered as one of the areas with the biggest potential of developing the agricultural industry. In addition, Lushnja is one of the most important tourism districts of Albania
Our Aims
Without the community it is difficult to develop the sustainable tourism industry, therefore, International and Multicultural Network for the Local development aims in the implementation of the activities for the benefit of the whole community in preservation and prioritization local traditions, natural resources, and its residents
Young people to leave a positive impact on our local community but also whenever they travel as many young people travel for work in the tourism industry in other European countries (Greece)particularly in small and big islands.
Albanian people even not in Eu travel a lot around the world
many young people leave the country during the touristic section and after came back to their country when the tourism sections end.
Facilitate exchange programs for students and faculty, to increase understanding of culture, different languages, etc., to share learning and best practices across geographical boundaries by helping reduce inequality in education and achievement of disadvantaged communities
Development of projects with various community groups, including schools, and local agricultural businesses to assist communities with low social development to increase their employment potentials, through social activities and Microfinance projects.
Creating opportunities aimed at increasing motivation, engagement, and integration of women working in small touristic businesses minorities, immigrants, and special needs people back into work especially through lifelong learning courses.
IMNELD staff is multilingual migrants who worked in Italy and Greece. Having participated in different EU projects including Tourism Language project which supports Niche tourism.
Staff have a good experience in the management of European projects starting in 2013 in other European cities and would like to support the small agricultural businesses.
IMNETLD staff have many years of work in the agricultural field and a good connection with businesses in Adriatic-Jonian territory and would help a lot with the dissemination activities.
